Enbridge Energy – Line 61 Pumping Stations

Enbridge Energy - Line 61 Pumping Station Interior Equipment on Balcony

Enbridge Energy, a multinational leader in energy infrastructure, has embarked on a number of projects to improve the integrity of their system and increase their pumping capacity. As part of this effort, Boldt was engaged to construct two new greenfield pumping stations along Line 61 through Wisconsin, in Minong and Hawthorne.

As the general construction partner, Boldt prepared the sites and self-performed concrete for footings and foundations for the new buildings and mainline pumps, as well as erection of pre-engineered and precast buildings with access platforms and bridge crane. Additional work included electrical and mechanical systems installation, including installation of the mainline pumps and motors, small and large-bore piping, sump tanks and pumps, and the HVAC.
