Green Bay Botanical Gardens – Bell Children’s Garden

Boldt recently completed the Bell Children’s Garden at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens. This unique project developed roughly 2.5 acres to create unique learning spaces to connect children and nature through play. The space includes five treehouses, a splashpad, an amphitheater, lodge, and other play areas where kids and families can interact with oversized creatures and plant life.

The Botanical Gardens’ saw a need and opportunity to further develop and expand the existing play area. To make this a reality, Boldt worked with SmithGroup through a collaborative preconstruction effort to help estimate, plan and drive the scope to meet the established budget.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“We partnered with Boldt to build our expanded Carol & Bruce Bell Children’s Garden in May, 2022, and now that the Garden is open, we are thrilled! The project took about 12 months from start to completion, and we are so pleased with the quality of the work, the attention to detail, the in-the-field problem solving, and the overall workmanship of this garden. From the beginning, it was a very unique garden with features that often had to be engineered in the field. Boldt’s willingness to work with us to ensure a safe, well-built garden for the most discriminating users, has resulted in rave reviews from our guests.”
